Members met other crime fiction enthusiasts at The Park Inn, Southend, for the Golden Age of Crime weekend, as part of the Essex Book Festival. Held between 15th and 17th March, the weekend offered talks by Jessica Fellowes, Stella Duffy, Martin Edwards and talks about the crime fiction of C.S. Forrester, better known for his historical naval fiction.
