Members and guests will be celebrating the birth of Dorothy L. Sayers at Balliol College, Oxford. Balliol is the college of Lord Peter Wimsey, Sayers’ detective character. As part of the celebrations, we will be having readings about Sayers’ life in Oxford and her own writing about Oxford, both fictional and real.
